In response to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the Japanese government has decided to assist Ukrainians in evacuating the country and has simplified the visa application process. First, you will need to obtain a 90-day temporary visa at the nearest Japanese Embassy. To do so, you will need the following documents:
Візова анкета
Фотокартка (45 мм х 35 мм)
Закордонний паспорт
Гарантійний лист від японського поручителя
※ (A guarantor is a person who is legally responsible for the applicant).
※ The letter of guarantee should preferably be submitted on paper, but if this is not possible, it can be sent to the Embassy/Consulate General by e-mail.
In this case, it may take some time for the documents to be verified.
※ The visa issuance period varies depending on the country of application.
